The PROCESS

initial consultation
After you've had a chance to get familiar with my work and style, reach out using the contact page. We'll connect and I'll share more information on available packages. We'll discuss any questions, custom needs, and decide if we're a good fit!

booking
Once we've decided we'd love to work together and you've determined the amount of coverage you need for your day, you'll finalize booking by signing a contract and paying a retainer to reserve your wedding date. Once your date is officially reserved, the fun part begins!

Engagement Session
All wedding packages come with a complimentary engagement session so that I can get to know my couples ahead of their wedding! This gives us the chance to get you comfortable in front of the camera so on the wedding day, you feel completely at ease- like you're hanging out with a friend! Plus, beautiful photos to remember this session time together!

PLANNING + CONSULTATIONS
We'll work together to ensure your beautiful vision comes to life- there's nothing I love more than to see your amazing dress, florals, and all the other details come together! I also love to help my couples create and fine-tune their timelines to make sure they have enough time to get to truly relax and enjoy their wedding days! Two months prior to the wedding you'll fill out a wedding day questionnaire so I get ALL the details!

YOUR WEDDING
The day we've been waiting for! Myself and my second photographer will be there every step of the way... we will guide you through the moments the need direction and make sure you know exactly what to do for posed portraits, but we will step back to let other moments of the day happen naturally so you can fully enjoy and be present! You can be sure we're documenting every single special moment and detail!

How many images can we expect?
On average, you can expect 75-100+ images per hour of coverage. That number, of course, can change and fluctuate with each couple's day and unique events! There is no upper limit on the number of edited photos that will be delivered.
Do i need to give you a shot list?
I don’t work from a full shot list, as I've found it takes away from allowing me to capture the genuine moments that tell the story of your day. Instead, I document your day as it naturally unfolds for more authentic, creative images.
Family formals are the exception—I’ll create an organized list with you ahead of time, and your pre-wedding questionnaire ensures all meaningful people and details will be thoughtfully captured.
What is your style for capturing
a wedding day?
My approach is a gentle balance of guidance and natural moments—offering posing and direction during portraits and family formals, while allowing the rest of your day to unfold naturally. My goal is to support you so you feel comfortable and confident, without taking your focus away from what matters most.
DO YOU TRAVEL outside of ohio?
Absolutely! Nothing sparks my creativity more than photographing in new places... Hawaii and Washington are some of my favorite places in the U.S., but I will happily join you anywhere!
How does travel work?
All Destination Weddings are offered at the same rate as local weddings, plus the cost of travel and lodging for the photography team. Some further locations in Ohio can be accommodated without an overnight stay, and we will create a custom quote to accommodate your needs!
What areas do you serve?
As a Cleveland Ohio Wedding Photographer, I commonly photography in Cleveland, the East Side of Cleveland, Akron, Canton, and Youngstown. I absolutely do photograph outside this area, we would just customize your package to accommodate additional travel! Some of my favorite work has been weddings that I travel for!
what are some of your favorite wedding venues in ohio?
Some of my favorite wedding venues in Cleveland are the Shoreby Club, The Club at Hillbrook, the Cleveland Country Club, Manakiki Golf Course, Pine Ridge Country Club, Mooreland Mansion.
What makes those venues special?
My photographer heart thrives when I'm given a little bit of nature and a lot of natural light to work with... I absolutely love the slightly slower pace that an estate or country club wedding provides with all the built-in amazing locations for portraits! These venues combine beautiful nature with elegance and sophistication!
how would you describe your photography style?
My photography style is light, bright, and true to color. As a natural light photographer, I absolutely love photographing in places with lots of windows and out in nature... don't worry, though- receptions are a completely different ball game, and I'm just as comfortable photographing with flash as I am with natural light, and I'm still able to emulate my style using flash!
