Fox Hill Plantation Wedding in Georgia
Madyson and Isaiah’s Fox Hill Wedding is truly a wedding day I dream about over and over. Fox Hill Plantation has just about everything you could want in one place as a photographer—massive oak trees covered in Spanish moss, open fields, a beautiful white pavilion for outdoor ceremonies, an impressive tree-lined driveway leading to the beautiful estate home that the sweet owner, Brigitte, generously allowed us to use as a backdrop for some photos. I remember looking around in awe all day at the sheer beauty and elegance of the day and venue. Even with the Georgia heat and humidity, nothing could put a damper on this wedding day.

Madyson is a wedding photographer herself, so no detail was left undone. Her getting-ready morning at a nearby Airbnb honestly truly looked and felt like the cover of Southern Bride Magazine. Her bridal details included her hand-stamped wedding invitations and an adundance of lush florals in my favorite favorite palette—soft whites, light blues, blush pinks. They were such a romantic, airy, and whimsical mix that tied everything together. We moved over to Fox Hill where she finished getting ready in the on-site bridal suite. The most stunning of all was Madyson’s dress! The statement bow on the back of her dress swept out into a beautiful full-length train that accentuated the romance of the day. After she was was in her dress, she shared the sweetest first look with her dad. I definitely was fighting back a few tears. They reminded me of my relationship with my own dad!

The entire wedding day took place on the property at Fox Hill Plantation with their outdoor ceremony in the all-white pavilion overlooking the property. A floral cross with soft greenery and blooms framed their vows. Isaiah’s father officiated and shared funny, heartwarming, and personal stories of Madyson and Isaiah’s love story. One of my favorite moments of the ceremony was Madyson walking down the aisle to the Princess Diaries waltz (the incredibly grand waltz where Mia and Michael end up together!). When those chords started as the doors opened for her to walk down the aisle, I was struck with the biggest emotional and nostalgic wave… it truly was a fairy tale princess moment for the most deserving bride! Some of my favorite candid photos of the day were their incredible joy as the two of them recessed down the aisle and shared their first few moments as a newly married couple with just the two of them!

After the ceremony, guests were greeted with cocktails and made their way across the lawn into cocktail hour. From there, we moved into portraits. Fox Hill Plantation has the most stunning grounds, and had endless opportunities for portraits. Spanish moss everywhere, soft golden light filtering through the trees, the stunning long driveway. Portraits with Madyson and Isaiah were effortless… they are so ridiculously adorable and in love!

The reception was set with the same level of detail as the rest of the day. The elegant florals, tablescapes, and patterned tablecloths truly felt like I was at a styled shoot, but it was even better because we were celebrating the sweetest couple surrounded by an incredible community of family and friends. The dance floor was packed, and the celebration truly was one of a kind for these two!

I’m so incredibly grateful I got to photograph Madyson and Isaiah’s beautiful Fox Hill Plantation wedding in Georgia. It truly is a day that I dream and reminisce about over and over.
If you’re looking for a destination wedding photographer for your wedding in Georgia or beyond, I’d absolutely to connect and hear more about your day.
