As a Cleveland wedding photographer, I get to witness a lot of meaningful wedding days— they are all so different, unique, and beautiful, but Bree and Connor’s wedding day is one that stands out and felt like true sunshine.
Their celebration reflected everything you’d hope for in a classic Cleveland Ohio wedding: relaxed, intentional, and curated with personal little details. Soft pastel tones, wildflower-inspired florals, and an outdoor ceremony on a perfectly sunny day at Enchanted Acres set the tone for the entire day.

A Summer Wedding in Cleveland, Ohio
Their celebration was everything you’d hope for in a summer wedding in Northeast Ohio: a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, a palette rooted in colorful wildflowers and natural greens, and a day that unfolded in one seamless location.
Nothing felt rushed or stressed, especially with having photos in the same location as the ceremony and reception. It allowed everyone to feel more relaxed and present throughout the day.

Details that Set the Tone
The morning started with Bree getting ready with her friends and family, along with capturing her bridal details.
Bree’s invitation suite was so beautiful—the pastel colors and wildflower inspiration tied everything together, and the extra florals that she had for detail photos just elevated them to another level.
Bree’s dress was absolutely stunning as well—the details were so exquisite, from the beadwork to the illusion back, to the removable tulle bows that attached at the shoulder, which were a whole statement piece of their own!

Dog-Friendly Cleveland Wedding Photographer- A Special First Look with Her Golden Retriever
One of the most memorable parts of the day was the cutest first look—Bree getting to have a few moments with her sweet golden retriever, Murphy.
Of course my heart was melting being a golden retriever mom myself.
Sunshine and puppy kisses, Murphy’s tail wagging, a customized tennis ball, and the sweetest floral details—it was such a special part of the day, and I’m so glad Murphy got to be included.
As a Cleveland wedding photographer, I always appreciate when couples make space for moments like this—they tend to end up being some of the most meaningful ones.

An Outdoor Cleveland Wedding Ceremony Surrounded by Color
Their outdoor ceremony was sun and floral-filled with the most stunning bright and colorful floral accents and wooded backdrop. One thing many couples don’t realize is that an outdoor ceremony lighting can make a big difference in how your photos turn out. In the arrangement, both the bride and groom are lit evenly (rather than one in harsh sun and one in shade). Bree and Connor’s ceremony was softly backlit and was ideal and the most flattering setup!

Bridesmaids in Soft Yellow & Intentional Details
The bridesmaids wore beautiful sunshine yellow dresses that brought brightness to the day. It was the perfect accent to a colorful, sophisticated day.

Everything in One Place
Having the entire wedding day in one place made for such a relaxing and seamless day. My favorite part about staying in one locations means more time for the couple actually being present with their celebration instead of travel and logistics.

Cleveland Wedding Photographer Capturing Golden Hour Portraits
Later in the day, we stepped away for portraits as the light softened. I love this part of the day- just the two of them taking a few quiet moments together. Golden hour gives couples the chance to mentally pause and truly soak in their day that is going by so quickly!
