Jacob & Marguerite have the most beautiful hearts and their wedding day was as beautiful! Their ceremony and reception were at The Aviator Event Center. Located right across from Cleveland Hopkins Airport, The Aviator has a restaurant, rooftop bar overlooking the airport, and a ballroom with windows surrounding the entire room. https://aviatorcle.com/
What struck me from the very start of their day was how kind and sweet Jacob and Marguerite are! To give you an example, I had to convince Jacob to go hang out with his groomsmen before the wedding rather than help me move tables that had been moved for getting ready photos! Marguerite has just as kind of a heart. She spends her days as an elementary school teacher and just published a children’s book!
After getting ready at The Aviator, Jacob and Marguerite shared a first look at The Cleveland Museum of Art! I love seeing this part of the day when the bride and groom get to enjoy spending time with only each other! I’m also super thankful they opted for a first look, because just after finishing bridal party portraits and family portraits a huge summer thunderstorm rolled in! It rained most of the afternoon, but we were able to rest easy because we already had taken the majority of their photos!
Thankfully, we were able to find a short break in the rain and jump out for photos at the Cleveland Sign in Tremont where Jacob & Marguerite had gotten engaged! On our way back to the Aviator Event Center, we were ahead of schedule and Jacob and Marguerite had us stop home to get a photo with their cat, Sharla! Sharla not only got her own portrait with the bride and groom, she also had her own signature drink at the reception! If you want to get to know Sharla more, check out the book Marguerite wrote about her! https://a.co/d/hTt1A1q
The ceremony and reception at The Aviator Event Center were beautiful! The light fixture above the dance floor was stunning. My favorite part of the evening was their surprise choreographed first dance! The look of joy on their faces and the reactions of their guests was something I won’t forget. After dinner, we were able to sneak outside onto the rooftop patio for golden hour photos with another break in the rain and captured some of my favorite veil shots of the day! I promise you won’t regret making time for these!
Each time I look back at Jacob and Marguerite’s wedding photos, I see not only beautiful photos, I see beautiful people! I’m so happy these two found each other, and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of their day!
